About us

Since it's inception Balaram Panda Trust has been working for the poor & rural people of Odisha in different sectors like health, sanitation, child welfare, and women issues etc. Some of the projects have been financed by NABARD, MSME and other institutions in addition to its own funds and donations from philanthropic persons.


Our work

Since it's inception, promotion of technical education has been one of the key focus areas of the Balaram Panda Trust.

Gandhi Institute for Technology promoted by the Balaram Panda trust is located in Bhubaneswar is a top engineering college in Odisha and has received several awards and accreditations including Governor's award as most promising engineering college in Odisha. The institute is ranked among best engineering colleges in Odisha by reputed magazines and websites.


The centre of Balaram Panda Trust is approved as DDU - GKY CENTRE By ORMAS (Orissa Rural Development and marketing Society) & 100 percent financed by R&D Department of Government of India.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the skilling and placement initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Govt. of India.


One of the major activities of Balaram Panda Trust is to develop skilled man power for the coir Industry. With this objectives in view, the above regular training programme is being conducted.

This programme is to impart training to women spinners in spinning coir yarn on motorised ratts/motorised traditional ratts in their village.


The health situation in the country today is an evolving canvas. Even after decades of freedom, India is struggling to provide basic health services to its people.

By Organizing Free Health Camps in near by villages we offer free Services like Blood Pressure Check-Up, Dental Consultation / Eye Check-Up etc.


The 'computer-based functional literacy' (CBFL) programme is a new-age solution to an age-old problem, and one that has the potential to lift our country's literacy rate in record time.

Tree plantation means planting tree in large number. Trees are very important to us in many ways. We cannot think of our existence without trees.

Continuing with its tradition of preserving environment and having eco-friendly activities, the Balaram Panda Trust is conducting tree plantation programmes wherever possible.


Balaram Panda Trust have always reached out and expeditiously arranged for relief efforts and helped in rebuilding the areas affected by natural disasters.

In the event of a natural calamity, the Trust have worked closely and collaboratively with the other agencies, including NGOs to lend a helping hand to affected people.


Blood donation camps organised by Balarama Panda Trust brought quite a huge no. of people from nearest village and institutes to contribute towards the noble cause of blood donation.
